The Beyond Sports Foundation TEAM is excited to announce the start of the tutoring sessions for the 2012-2013 academic year. On September 9th we held our first official tutoring session and we had a great turn out of students, tutors, and parents. We are truly excited about not only the start of the year, but the positive direction in which the entire BSF program is heading into. We have a great new space that provides us with room to continue to grow, we have some outstanding new students and tutors that have joined the team of returning participants, and we are continuing to grow our support base each and every day!!!

The session started with an official welcome, introductions, and announcements from the BSF staff and Board President, David Grumhaus. Mr. Grumhaus provided a pre-game pep talk for all in the room that has set the tone for the entire season!!! The students entered the first session ready and willing to learn and the tutors were eager to assist the students with getting off to a great start to the school year. The student/tutor pairs worked on everything from Science, Theology, and Math to Spanish, ACT prep, and perfecting papers that are due soon. It was an all-around productive first day and that momentum should carry over to the sessions to come.

We encourage all to not only follow the BSF Movement by checking out our website, our Facebook page, attending upcoming BSF events and the sporting events of the student-athletes, but we also hope that more and more people will continue to support us and get involved in various ways. We are constantly looking for supporters that are willing to make a donation to ensure the BSF student-athletes have all of the necessary resources they need to be successful on and off the field. We also encourage interested supported to inquire about volunteer opportunities.

BSF believes that it takes a TEAM effort to assist our student-athletes with turning their dreams into a reality and we hope that YOU will join our TEAM during the 2012-2013 BSF Season!!!
